Reiki: what is it?
Reiki is an ancient Japanese, non-intrusive complementary therapy. As a hands-on healing technique, Reiki enhances the body's own innate ability to heal itself on all levels, while the practitioner just channels Universal Life Force energy to the Client. This treatment is usually facilitated by a light, non-manipulative touch to a clothed recipient.
A treatment feels like a wonderful glowing radiance that flows through and around you. Reiki treats the whole person including body, emotions, mind and spirit creating many beneficial effects that include relaxation and feelings of peace, security and well being.
HOW DOES IT WORK IN PRACTICE?
The client always remains fully clothed during a treatment and Reiki will pass through, bandages, plaster casts or braces. It can be blocked instead by iron or metals, that's why is better not to wear watches or jewelry during the session.
The Reiki practitioner follows a sequence of hands on positions over the body and a treatment lasts 1,5 hrs in average.
We all have an energy field (aura) surrounding our physical body. As we go through life we place demands on our energy field. During a Reiki treatment this energy field can re-energise. Reiki restores the natural balance of the body, providing deep relaxation and bringing a sense of peace and well-being. It can benefit everyone also women during pregnancy or kids, plants or animals.
Generally, clients can feel a deep sense of relaxation, heat, tingling, coolness and energy flowing during a Reiki treatment. Reiki will flow to where the body needs.
Reiki helps restore balance and harmony to the mind, body and spirit, because the energy involved is the Universal Force Energy that surrounds all sorts of life.

During a Bars session, a trained practitioner lightly touches 32 points on your head which dissipates the electromagnetic charge that gets locked in our brains by the thoughts, feelings and emotions that we have stored over lifetimes. Imagine if someone could press a button and mute that voice in your head that tells you that you’re not good enough or that you can’t accomplish what you dream about. That “voice” comes from those electromagnetic charges that keep us from believing we can have the life we've always known is possible.
This is what the Bars will begin to unlock…the space of being YOU!
